Ride Hard Our Giro!
Ride 300 kilometres in 3 days during the Grande Partenza of the Giro d’Italia! You’ll be there to witness the action at the finish line after riding the course. Don’t miss out, it’ll be a great program, guaranteed!
The participation fee (EUR 250 / HUF 89,000) includes:
– Two nights (May 6, Friday and May 7, Saturday) in a four-star hotel in Hévíz in a double room including half board,
– Three 100-kilometer cycling trips with tour guides and car support, which is the standard for all Ridehard cycling tours. Two of the three bike rides will follow Stage 3 of the 2022 Giro d’Italia,
– We provide precise GPX file in advance,
– On May 8 in Balatonfüred we’ll be cheering the riders at the finish including a VIP surprise,
– We provide return transport from Balatonfüred to Hévíz for those who park at the hotel or have booked accommodation for Sunday as well,
– The program includes recovery from the fatigue of the ride in the world-famous thermal bath in Hévíz,
– We’re arranging refreshments during the ride,
– There will be the opportunity to collectively watch the day’s stage at the hotel after each leg of the tour,
– We’ll be taking photos during the ride,

Options for bookings on Thursday and Sunday provided by the hotel at a discount for participants of our event. Standard accommodation is in double rooms for two people, but it’s possible to book a single room with a surcharge of HUF 9,000/person/night. In case someone wants to bring an escort, accommodation can be arranged accordingly.
Requirements:
Participants are expected to safely handle the road bike and possess adequate fitness to cycle for several hours at a constant speed of around and slight above 30 km/h on rolling terrain.
Location:
Hévíz from where we designate three 100-kilometer routes; the first to Kis-Balaton, the second to the Káli Basin and finally the third to Balatonfüred all along Stage 3 of the Grande Partenza in Hungary.
Planned schedule:
Friday: check-in at the accommodation from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., riding from 1 p.m. along stage 3 route, return to the hotel 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., dinner and get together party from 7 p.m. at the hotel,
Saturday: breakfast 8 a.m., riding to the Káli Basin starting at 10 a.m., return to the hotel between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., lunch on your own, watching stage 2 collectively from 4 p.m., dinner at the hotel from 7 p.m.
Sunday: breakfast from 8 am, cycling to Balatonfüred along the stage route from 10 a.m, arrival on the stage finish between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., change/shower/lunch individually from 3 pm to 4 pm, watching the finish of Stage 3 live from 4 pm, VIP surprise following the arrival of the peloton. Optional joint dinner or return to Hévíz from 6 pm.
